Season play includes tournaments and league. Out of state tournaments for advanced teams.

Gabe brings an immense amount of baseball experience, energy, and fun to his team and the Tacoma Select Baseball program. Along with coaching our 13U Majors Team, Gabe will be running pitching instruction and strength and conditioning for all our age groups.
Growing up in California, Gabe played for the San Jose Lights Out travel team, ranked #1 travel ball team in USSSA Rankings. In high school, he was a two-time First Team All-League. Gabe played college ball at CAL State University, Monterey Bay, where he made Second Team All-CCAA. In his 2016 Season, he recorded 60 strikeouts in 71.2 innings. — After college, Gabe played two years in the Independent League with the Napa Silverados in the Pacific Association and the Santa Cruz Seaweed in the Pecos League.
CJ, originally from Graham, WA, attended Graham-Kapowsin High School where he excelled as a pitcher, earning multiple 1st-team all-league awards and a Preseason All-American honor during his senior year. He also showcased his talent playing for the Mariners Scout Team and the nationally ranked Taylor baseball team.
Continuing his academic and athletic journey, Blowers accepted an offer from Edmonds CC, where he maintained an impressive 2.23 ERA with 72 strikeouts and only 28 walks in 72.2 innings pitched. Transitioning to NCAA DII baseball at CSUSB in 2019, Blowers continued to impress with a 3.00 ERA.
Looking ahead, CJ will be leading his own 15U team next season and will be joining our training staff to work with all teams.
Donovan is a current college baseball player at Olympic College in Bremerton, WA. He has been a two year starter for the Rangers as their second baseman. During his freshman campaign he batted .262 for the Rangers while playing solid defense for them. A Puyallup native, Donovan competed for the Rams at Rogers High School. A two-time varsity letterman while earning All-League honors for the Rams. Donovan is also currently signed to play baseball at Dakota State University in Madison, South Dakota in hopes to further his skills and academics.
Jack grew up in University Place, Washington, and attended Curtis High School, where he played Varsity Baseball. Jack was a two-year letterwinner for the Vikings and was a two-sport star, also playing football. He helped Curtis make the playoffs as a sophomore, junior, and senior. Later, Jack played college baseball at Pacific Lutheran University. Jack is a two-way player, both pitching and hitting.
Chase, Originally from Modesto, California. Attended Beyer High School where he played as a pitcher and a first baseman, earning all conference awards in both positions.
Continuing his academic and baseball career, Chase committed and played 4 years at George Fox University where he excelled as a two-way player and participated as an important piece to the Bruins each season. During his career at George Fox, Chase earned multiple All-Conference awards and was also selected as a West All-Region player in his senior season.
Nathan, from Des Moines, Washington. He attended Mount Rainier High School and played as a pitcher and switch-hitting shortstop while earning a varsity letter all four years. He showcased his talent playing for the NorthWest Elite team which traveled around the country playing Junior College teams while also playing locally for the Crimson Cannons. Continuing his journey, he spent three years playing at Clark College as a pitcher. Then, transferring to WSU he spent a year as the lead Strength and Conditioning Intern for the baseball and swim teams before becoming a Certified Personal Trainer.
Xavier is a seasoned Tactical Strength and Conditioning Coach currently working at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, with the 14th Combat Engineer Battalion. With years of experience as a high school and collegiate strength & conditioning coach, Xavier brings a unique blend of expertise to Tacoma Select. He specializes in strength training, athletic development, and injury management. Xavier’s dedication to excellence and his ability to adapt training strategies make him a valuable asset in both military and athletic settings.
